01Who is behind this domain?
A software company for private markets fund managers, headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Whatever personal data is described below, we decide what happens to it, which makes us the controller. Mail to gp@eigenflow.pro lands with a colleague rather than a ticket queue.
02How did you get my email address?
One of three ways, in rough order of how often each applies:
- A public regulatory filing. Form D and similar disclosures are published on EDGAR and name a contact for the issuer.
- Your firm's own website. If a business contact is published for inbound enquiries, we treat it as reachable for business matters.
- Someone introduced us, or we spoke at an industry event and agreed to follow up.
We have never bought a contact list and we do not scrape personal data. If none of the three fits, that is a defect on our side and we would like to hear about it.
03What exactly do you hold about me?
Your name, business email, job title, and firm. Publicly filed information about that firm, such as strategy and vintage. Whether our messages were delivered and whether you replied, plus the content of any reply. If you have asked us to stop, a minimal record of that request.
Nothing about you outside your professional capacity. No special category data. No financial account information.
04What gives you the right to write to me?
We rely on legitimate interest: one professional writing to another about software that bears on their job. That basis only holds if the balance actually favours it, so we keep sourcing confined to material firms have themselves published, send few messages, aim them at a role rather than a person's private life, and drop anyone who asks on the day they ask.
Some jurisdictions want permission secured before the first email. There, we ask first.
05How do I make it stop?
Reply to any message with the word stop. Click the unsubscribe link in the footer. Or write to gp@eigenflow.pro. Removal happens the same day and is permanent. You do not need to explain why, create an account, or fill in a form.
06Who else sees my data?
It is not for sale, and no third party gets it to promote their own products. Three categories of vendor touch it under contract, each confined to its job: whoever delivers our mail, whoever hosts our infrastructure, and the system where we keep notes. None may act except on our instruction.
A court order would compel disclosure, as would defending ourselves in litigation. Neither situation has arisen.
07How long do you keep it?
If you never reply, your record is deleted within 24 months of our last message. If a conversation starts, we keep it while the conversation is live and for 24 months after it ends.
Opt-out records are the exception. We keep those indefinitely, because deleting the record of your request is how companies end up contacting you again.
08What can I ask you to do?
Tell you what we hold and where it came from. Correct anything wrong. Delete your record entirely. Stop processing based on legitimate interest. Send your data in a portable format. Withdraw consent where we relied on it.
One email to gp@eigenflow.pro covers all of these. We act within 30 days, usually within two. If you are in the EEA or UK and our answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to your local supervisory authority.
09Where is the data held?
On US infrastructure, behind access controls, encrypted both while moving and while stored, and visible only to colleagues whose work requires it. Records originating in the EEA or UK travel under Standard Contractual Clauses.
10What if this page changes?
The date at the top moves and the current version always lives at this address. If a change materially affects people already in our records, we email them before it takes effect.
